JLT

JLT, this is a word which is unforgettable for any XIMBIAN and all of us have some incidents related to it. This JLT is ‘Just Like That’, and we called it so as in everyone’s life such incidents which he never in thought off keep on going as, life is not so simple and never allowed to flow you as per expectation.

Let me share one of such incident and that happened on V’ Day, in college (NIT, Jaipur) I mean during my engineering days, we had a group of five students and we used to be available at our favorite time pass ‘CANTEEN’ during college hours. On this day also the same thing happened and after enjoying the life at college we came to our home (as we three of them were the day-scholars). In evening one of my friends came to me and we were doing some project work. We were chatting and working and at that single moment he asked me to call our rest of the friends to go for dinner. Here it is necessary to mention that in our college girls were not allowed to go out after 8:00 PM and when I made this call, it was already around 7:45 PM. And as per expectation they show their in-ability to join us and proposed for the very next day to go for lunch, which we had rejected half-heartedly.

We were still working on that project which we need to submit the next day, and phone rang. The phone was from college hostel and they were planning for some excuse to give to hostel warden to remain out of it for next 2 hrs or so. And finally they succeed and we all went out for dinner, and that was really a day of my life which I never even think to forget. We chilled out that evening and enjoyed the dinner with just one point of discussion that why we had called at that time and than how come they made that possible to go for it. In end we went with them to college to drop them before returning to home.

This life is full of such incidents and these are those lovely moments of life which provide you enough energy to live and dream for future. I am thankful to that group of friends whom I believe as my real treasure which I got during those four years of life. We still sit together might be in different groups, as due to other obligations of this life but we never forget to remind each other those special moments.

I am thankful to God for giving me so many good friends, as in this life it is hard for some to even get one good friend or partner, and God has given me special privilege of having so many good friends and this number is keep on increasing as life is flowing and I am proud to have them with me. I had not mentioned any name in this, but I will certainly introduce all of my friends in my subsequent posts.
